Saturday we leave for our summer break. Everything is in great shape for the summer. With Judy Rowcliffe, Mike Struck, Jim Ward and your many other leaders, all will be well.
Here are three dates to save now so that we start strong together in the fall.
Baseball! The San Rafael Pacifics have their last home game starting at 1:05pm on Sunday, August 30th versus the Stompers. Our St. Paul’s Choir will be singing the national antem and so we’re making this an all generation kick off event. The park is a short walk from the church.
Discipleship Group Workshop. On Saturday, September, 12th we kick off the first of our four-part series Strengthen Your Spiritual Core with a three hour Discipleship Group workshop from 9am to noon. Join people from around the Bay Area as we learn about, and share stories of, this powerful from of Christian life.
Open House. Chloe and I have hosted many St. Paul’s parties at our house in San Anselmo. On Sunday, September 13th from 4pm to 6pm we host our first ever Open House for the whole St. Paul’s family. Come on by to our home in San Anselmo and meet those great people from the other Sunday service that you rarely see and hardly know!
I’m looking forward to a deeply restful summer and I hope the same for you. My first Sunday back is August 16th.
