Thank You and Follow Through

Hello –

We had a very strong Stewardship Ingathering this past Sunday. Thank you to all of you who have handed in pledge cards for next year. But the work is not yet done!

As is typical, we know there are some who have not yet handed in their pledge cards. Please do so soon. As you do, please bear in mind that the Vestry, our governing board, meets in 10 days to determine next year’s budget. Here are three places where your level of generosity is likely to make a difference:

• Outreach. How high a percent of each person’s pledge can we afford to give to Outreach while maintaining a balanced budget?

Childrens-Choir-Icon-2-e1339519728172• Children’s Choir. We already have 13 children signed up, some of whom are new to St. Paul’s! How well can we support this new ministry? (Find out more at our website here.)

• Courtyard Support. Your Rector will need to dedicate much of next year being the Project Manager while we tear out the old courtyard, create an entirely new one and, simultaneously, manage the flow of the 500 of us (among the church, the school, the 12 Step Programs and so on) who use our campus each week. How much administrative support will he receive?

As you can see, we face exciting and deeply worthwhile projects and activities in 2016. Thank you again to all of you who already have pledged. To those of you who will be pledging soon, please be timely and generous.

Blessings,

Christopher
