November Quick Hits

Hello –

This week I have a bunch of little things I ask you to consider:

• This afternoon at 5:30 those of us who are already engaged in relationship with our seven friends on Death Row will be gathering in the Upper Room to consider the ministry- you are invited to come if you would like to just ‘come and see.’

• Saturday morning starting at 9am we will be doing the dungeon purge- that is,we will be cleaning out the undercroft- willing hands and backs are very welcome.

• This year there will be no St. Anne’s Harvest Bazaar, but they are planning a book sale for March.

• We’re still in the midst of our Stewardship drive- please keep in your heart whatever it is you love best about St. Paul’s- the people, the space, our Outreach, the learning, seeing our children grow up, our care of each other, particularly our seniors- please remember what you love best and be generous.

• Our SPRIF III campaign to put in a safe, accessible and beautiful courtyard continues and is the major legacy of our generation of our campus- we’re 3/4 of the way there!

• Bible studies return next week and you are invited to jump in either Tuesdays at 12:30 with Hebrews or Wednesday at 10 with Genesis. I am willing to start a third Bible study on Thursday evenings at 6:15 if there is enough interest. Please let me know.

• A Church Children’s Choir is coming into being- please contact me if you are interested in having your child participate.

• The Sunday morning Forum from 9:00 to 9:40 every Sunday is yielding great conversations- right now we are exploring where we can experience our souls and what the Christian growth of a soul is like- join us!

• Our post-10am-service coffee hours have become an even warmer experience in the last month or so- please remember to engage the new faces and the people you don’t know. That is the most regular time to get to know one another in a casual, social setting.

See you Sunday.

Blessings,

Christopher
