Birthdays and Anniversaries (Plus)

Betty Hardin and I share the same August birthday! Who else is celebrating a birthday or anniversary this month? Please shoot me an email at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com so I can read your name aloud at the 10am distance worship on Sunday and say a prayer for you.
The Rev. Lynn Oldham-Robinett will then be leading Sunday worship on August 23rd and 30th while I take vacation.

• Please volunteer to write 5-10 postcards to people of St. Paul’s. Our goal is to send a hand written card to every active member of our parish. Email Lorrie at lbugatto@stpaulssanrafael.org telling her how many postcards you are willing to write. She will send you a packet with the postcards, a printed list of addresses and phone numbers with the people you are to write circled, and a cover letter from me which will include a sample of what you might write. This is our first step in a monthly in-reach effort.

• Get your St. Paul’s Pillar Candle tomorrow between 10am and 2pm. I will be in the courtyard to hand you the candle and to visit. The church will be open if you’d like to go in and look and pray. (It was such a joy to see over a dozen people yesterday picking up their candles!)
