Worship Tomorrow 9am- Facebook Live Plus

Hello –

I just met with members of the Vestry and the RenewalWorks Group. Together we came up with protocols for St. Paul’s for the next week, at least. The following is how we will keep this season of Sabbath together for the next week:

Worship tomorrow is at 9am. It will be broadcast on Facebook Live. This means that, if you are on Facebook, go to the St. Paul’s, San Rafael Facebook page, which is open to all, at 9am tomorrowand you will see the beginning on a live worship service that’s likely to last until about 9:50 or so. It will include music. The church doors will be open. Should you choose to some into the space, wash your hands before entering and maintain 6 feet distance from others.

The doors of the church will be open, Tuesday through Friday during the day. Please feel free to come and pray. Furthermore, I will be here most of the week and available to talk or help you with Facebook or whatever. We will remain open.

Bible Studies, Spiritual Forum and Discipleship Groups will continue to meet. However, we ask that everyone wash hands as soon as you come into the building, and you will notice that we are reconfiguring Duncan Hall and the Upper Room so that we can keep the 6 feet of appropriate social distance. We will not have Wednesday morning eucharist or With Gladness and Singleness of Heart. (I will let you know what the St. Anne’s Guild decides about their Thursday lunch.)

Email Blasts like this will come more regularly. Soon, you’ll be hearing from other people also with some regular bits of spiritual advice and council to help all of us stay connected in this socially isolated time.

The Group that met this morning will meet next Saturday to continue to ensure that we are responding in the best possible way to this crisis. How do we ensure safe social distance without needless social isolation? As we continue to meet to serve you, please continue your financial commitment to St. Paul’s. Heres’ the link to the Realm service that allows you to safely continue your financial generosity and so help us continue to serve you.

Even, and especially, in this uncertain time, let us continue to follow Jesus together in worship, prayer and service. You will be hearing from us soon about ways we all can continue to serve others in this time of great and growing need.

You are each in my prayers. We will be reaching out to many of you in the days to come. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com or 415 456 4842.

Blessings,

Christopher
