With Gladness & St. Paul’s 101
Hello –
1. St. Paul’s 101. This is simply an opportunity for you to make St. Paul’s, even more, your spiritual home. I will be leading this hour long class at 11:30am on Sundays in the Downing Library. This Sunday the 13th is the first Sunday. Come with your questions and I will do my best to answer them. (Why do people cross themselves in the service? What’s the relationship between the Episcopal Church and the Roman Catholic Church? How do you read the Bible? etc. etc. etc.)
2. With Gladness and Singleness of Heart. On Saturday the 19th at 8:30am we meet in Duncan Hall to explore the question of how to be a Christian in Marin. We meet for one hour and will meet for 4 Saturdays in a row. We will keep circling back to a simple prayer: “O God, send me to do the work you have given met to do, with gladness and singleness of heart.” In the fourth meeting, on February 9th, we will each come up with a thing to do in Lent to help make that prayer our own. Hospitality starts at 8am.
