Virtual St. Paul’s This Week

Hello –

In addition to ongoing phone calls, we continue our efforts to connect as many of us together as possible via phone, Zoom and Facebook Live.

• Our Sunday 9am Worship had at least over 75 people watching it live and well over 120 people total who looked at it at one point or another. This coming Sunday, we’ll be praying for folks with birthdays and anniversaries in March. be sure to email me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com if you want me to read your name.

• Special prayers please for Bruce B who’s recovering from pancreatitis and Scot H. who is at Smith Ranch Rehab recovering from a car accident where he broke many bones in his ankle and wrist.

Tuesday Morning Prayer at 7:30am worked beautifully this morning. Email me and I’ll send you the PDF of the service and the Zoom link so you can join us next week.

• The Bible Studies of the Gospel of John on Wednesdays at 10am and Thursdays at 6:15pm went very well last week and attracted new people. Join us! For the Wednesday study email Michael G. at mjesgreen@comcast.net for a Zoom invite and for the Zoom invite for the Thursday study email Tanner at walter.tanner@gmail.com.

• This week, St. Anne’s will likely meet at 11am on Thursday via conference call. Email me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com for the call in number and code.

• The Spiritual Forum will meet at 10:15am on Sundays and will be reading the poems of Gerard Manley Hopkins. Email Tanner at walter.tanner@gmail.com for the Zoom invite. A stack of the books from which we are reading are on the pew on the porch of Duncan Hall if you’d like to grab one. Otherwise the poems we are reading are available online. We will start with God’s Grandeur, which you can check out here.

And we are laying plans for a a full Holy Week with virtual services at 9am on Palm Sunday, 7pm on Maundy Thursday, Noon on Good Friday and 9am on Easter Sunday. Stay tuned! Palm Sunday is a week from this Sunday.

And again, email me if you are in need of food or basic medical supplies. Matthew is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to run errands!

Blessings,

Christopher
