Hello –
From time to time I feel the need to send you a series short blurbs about a range of things. Here goes:
• Tonight the Vestry chooses a bid for the Hardin Courtyard and so decides whether it’s all concrete, all pavers, or a blend. You are welcome to come at 7pm.
• This Sunday is the Stop Hunger Now project of assembling meals for the most hungry in the world. Here’s the link to sign up. (Not through Safari but through Firefox or Chrome.)12:45 to 3 in Duncan Hall.
• Basic Christianity will start this coming Sunday. There are at least five people who are coming. It’s going to be awesome. 11:30am in the Upper Room.
• We have three funerals the next three Saturdays for three beloved parishioners. Roger’s is 1pm on 1/21. Rainie’s is 11am on 1/28. Paul’s is 12/4 at 11am. Please pray for the repose of their souls and comfort for their families.
• We’re hosting a St. Paul’s Open House at our home in San Anselmo on Sunday, January 29th from 4pm to 6pm. This is always a ton of fun. Be there!
• Our two Bible Studies are Wednesdays 10am reading Hebrews and Thursdays 6:15pm reading Philippians. The Spiritual Forum is Sundays at 9am and we’re reading the poem Pearl. Morning Prayer is Tuesdays at 7:30 and the light right now is amazing.
• Finally, the Annual Meeting, as always, is Super Bowl Sunday, February 5th, from 11:15am to no later than 1pm. Lunch included.
Yes, we’re busy, but it’s all stuff that reflects who we are and what we value.
Blessings,
Christopher
