Hello –
There are two things this coming weekend at St. Paul’s to pay special attention to:
1. Come and See Breakfast. On Saturday morning, from 8:30am to 9:30am come to St. Paul’s for a free breakfast served by the fabulous Chef Cynthia. You will learn about St. Monnica’s Mutual Housing Community, a project we are pursuing in partnership with Mutual Housing of California and St. John’s, Ross and with some starter funding from the Episcopal Impact Fund. This housing project was inspired by our hosting Young Moms Marin for almost 5 years and seeing first hand the need for housing for young families. Email Kati at kdombrosky@gmail.com by tomorrow, Wednesday, if you plan to come so we can know how much food to prepare.
2. St. Paul’s People Blueprint. On Sunday, we will once again display our new St. Paul’s People Blueprint. Designed by our Senior Warden, Tanner, these two large blueprints show an outline of our campus with our various activities, programs and ministries placed in the appropriate spot on the campus. Beneath each activity is the name of the leader and a bunch of dots, each dot signifying the people who do the work. Come take a look. This is part of our RenewalWorks inspired effort to have transparent leadership in our parish. If you are part of that work, or would like to be part of that work, write your name next to a dot on the Blueprint. This is an interactive way to help all of us learn how our community works.
Remember that tomorrow night is the last night of this fall’s New College of Christian Practice. It’s not too late to learn about Sitting Zazen with Jesus, Jesus and the New Age or the Resurrection. Finally, a great thank you and congratulations to the St. Anne’s Guild for leading us in another successful book sale!
