Hello –
A few things:
• This Saturday is Cara’s ordination to the Diaconate at Grace Cathedral. She’s asked me to be one of her two clergy presenters and for Judy to bear our St. Paul’s banner in the procession. There are bunch of folks who will be going. Contact me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com if you’d like to carpool.
• We’re off to a strong start with sign ups to host coffee hour through the summer. We’ve got sign-ups through mid to late July except for July 5th. Email me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com or sign up on the sheet by the door to the kitchen.
• June 21st we have another adult baptism with Jenn, who has requested that we return to our classic baptism in the church. Be sure to come for that joyful occasion.
• We could use some new acolytes and readers, particularly with folks coming and going through the summer. Email me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com with your interest.
• Both Bible Studies are on hold. The Wednesday Bible Study resumes on July 15th at 10am, perhaps with beginning to read Hebrews. Thursday at 6pm on Zoom resumes on August 6th when we begin a three month march through the whole of Exodus.
Finally, thank you to all of you who have filled out Funeral/Memorial Service Planning forms. As I keep reminding us, those forms are a great gift to our loved ones. Please keep them coming in! Email me if you’d like a form.
