Hello,
Over the next 5 days there are 5 invitations to become a spiritual leader of your own faith:
Thursday- Flour. At 10am help us place heritage flour into bags and then pray over them before sending them to dozens of our sister churches. The flour makes communion bread.
Friday- Postcard. By Friday, you should receive a postcard that states the first Landmark of our RenewalWorks Roadmap with its 3 Signposts. The Landmark is “Becoming spiritual leaders of our own faith.” At the bottom is a line that will say “My Lenten practice is…..” You are invited to fill it out.
Saturday- Daily Prayer. Saturday at 8:30am I offer personal coaching in Daily Prayer as part of Basic Discipleship. If your Lenten practice is daily prayer, this is the perfect place for you.
Sunday- Celebration of Silence. The 8am service will be a half hour Eucharist service rooted in silence and led by Tanner and Brigitte. (Also, I offer Basic Discipleship again, this time at 11:30am)
All of these are invitations to a Holy Lent.
