3 things to come to, in reverse order.
1. Beach Picnic! This Saturday all in the parish are invited to come to Hart’s Desire Beach, just past Inverness out in Point Reyes. It’s a beautiful and mellow beach with areas to cook for, fun paths for adventures and of course swimming. Kati will be there at 8am to reserve a spot for us and recommends getting there before 11am when the parking lot tends to fill up. See you there!
2. Basic Discipleship. This four or five week experience begins this Saturday at 8am. I will coach a small group of people in the practice of praying for 20 minutes a a day. I’ve taught this many times before at St. Paul’s. Even if you’ve taken it before and feeling like you want a refresher, you are welcome to come. Many people at St. Paul’s have assumed the practice of prayer thanks to this class.
3. Martin’s Funeral. On Thursday at 11am we will have the funeral of Martin. Martin loved the choir, so his wife Mazzie and son Harry have made sure that the choir will be there. It should be a beautiful service and parishioners are welcome to the lunch afterwards. Martin was only with us for couple of years but loved St. Paul’s and was an enthusiastic supporter, particularly of the music.
