Hello –
1. Come Together. Chloe writes: Saturday Dec. 16th from 2-4pm. 1123 Court St. San Rafael. Call or email with questions: 415-464-7149. We’ll have some time of singing a few winter songs, and then I’ll give a little talk on David Brooks’ book How to Know a Person. Then we’ll break into small groups like last time for conversation and come back as a larger group at the end.
2. Singalong for Saints and Sinners. Join us for the third annual Singalong, this time featuring the San Francisco Boys Choir along with our chancel choir. Come and help us sing which secular Christmas songs you’d like to sing. Invite friends and neighbors. 7pm this Monday, the 18th, in the church.
3. Christmas Services are at 5pm on Christmas Eve and 10am on Christmas Morning, followed by the annual Pot Luck Feast Chloe and I have hosted for almost 20 years. We bring a ham and you’re invited to bring either a desert or a side.
4. Transcending Contempt. This six part seminar to help us become beacons of light and love in an election year starts Saturday, January 6th at 8:30am for refreshments and 9am for the session. Tomorrow I’ll send an email briefly describing one of the sessions.
