Let’s take a look at some of the former church members. Looking around the church, there are many plaques that name former members of the congregation memorialized by their gifts to the glory of God and in remembrance of loved ones.
On the right side of the church just beyond the choir pews is a plaque that reads:
“ This flag has been placed in memory of the men from this parish who gave their lives in World War II”
“One star different from another star in glory” 1 Cor.15:14
The men who are listed are: Harry L. Evans, Starring B. Winfield, Wallace A. Broadfoot, Augustus Douglas Teskey Jessie King Jackson and Charles McCaskey.
