Hello –
This week we celebrate two of our finest ministries.
First, tomorrow night there’s a Come and See event about our ministry to San Quentin’s Death Row. This chapter of our ministry began 18 years ago when the mother of an inmate asked the Bishop of California to please find someone to visit her son. The leaders of St. Paul’s responded to that request. Now, there are 14 St. Paul’s volunteers in various kinds of relations with 7 inmates. Come to St. Paul’s at 6:45 to hear the great stories.
This weekend is the Harvest Bazaar, an over 60 year old tradition put on by the St. Anne’s Guild. It’s 10-3 Saturday and 9-12 Sunday. This year is special for two reasons. First, the Guilders are particularly excited by the quality of the merchandise. Second, there’s a good chance that this may be the last Bazaar. Come catch the feel of this homey tradition and be sure to buy something cool and give your thanks for the hard and faithful work of the loyal Guilders!
This Sunday is our family Sunday with children leading parts of our worship. Also, please remember that starting next week, Duncan Hall will not be available from Monday to Friday during the day.
Blessings,
Christopher
