Hello –
Three things:
1. It’s not too late to join Transcending Contempt. Last week, nearly 40 people came in person and the YouTube video of the session has gathered nearly 75 views.
Go to this webpage (https://stpaulssanrafael.org/transcending-contempt/) to watch the first session and download the first session’s PDF. Then…
a. Come in person to Duncan Hall at 8:30am this Saturday for hospitality. The session then begins at 9am.
b. Join the Zoom link on the Webpage at 9am to join conversation and then see the next teaching. The PDF of the second session’s handout will be available there tomorrow afternoon.
c. Watch the teaching later on YouTube.
2. This coming Wednesday at 4pm we make bagged lunches for Vinnies to distribute to our homeless neighbors. Email me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com and I’ll connect you with Mike G, the leader.
3. Chloe’s third Come Together event, a dance party for folks who boogieing in the 60s, 70s and 80s will be from 3pm yo 5pm on Saturday, the 20th. Come for a time at the intersection of play and depth.
And be sure to come to church on Sunday, February 4th, when we will have out Annual Meeting, a time to attend to essential business, review the year that has passed and look to the year to come.
