Three Open Doors

Hello –

A distinguishing mark of our St. Paul’s community is that we are a church OF small groups, not a church WITH small groups.

Here are three weekly small groups where the door is open to you if you would like to grow in friendships and in Jesus.

Thursday Night Bible Study on Zoom. Each week, I facilitate a conversation with five to eight people about the Bible. Next week, we begin a study of the Gospel of Luke. We simply read a chunk of the text out loud and talk about it. No homework and no previous experience required. It’s from 6pm to 7pm. Email me at cmartin@stpaulssanrafael.org if you’d like to check it out.

Wednesday Morning Bible Study in Duncan Hall. Each week I facilitate six to ten people around the dining table in Duncan Hall. We meet from 10am to 11am. Right now, we’re reading Isaiah. It’s the same format- we read a chunk of text aloud and talk about it. There’s no homework and no previous experience required. Come by and check it out. Email me if you have questions.

Sunday Spiritual Forum. Every Sunday a group of people gathers in both Duncan Hall and on Zoom, right after the 10am service, to discuss a spiritual book. Email Judy at JLRowcliffe@comcast.net to find out the current book and, if you’d like it, to get the Zoom link.

I believe small groups, whether it’s these weekly studies, our various worship teams like the choirs or the altar guild, or even our Discipleship Groups, are one of the keys to our health and strength. Grow in friendships and in Jesus by joining small groups at St. Paul’s.

Blessings,
