Hello –
There are three important dates coming up, each at the heart of the life of St. Pauls right now.
1. February 1st. This Sunday is the Annual Meeting. It’s right after church, includes lunch, is over by 1pm and at it we do essential and required work for the running of our church. This year, we also will launch a three-week Runway for growth campaign that includes a bold theme and a carefully worked out strategy. It’s been in the works since last year’s Vestry retreat in March. Come find out more!
2. February 21st. A Saturday gathering in Duncan Hall starting at 10am marks the conclusion of the Growth Campaign.
3. February 22nd is Erin’s last Sunday before she begins her indefinite Medical Leave of Absence. She will be preaching and, as always when people leave us for a season, we will be laying our hands on her. In this case, we’ll be asking for both blessing and healing. We hope and pray for a strong return to St. Paul’s for Erin!
In the midst of all this, Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, is February 18th with services at noon and 6pm.
