• If you have a birthday or anniversary in May, email me so we can pray for you by name on Sunday. c.h.mrtn@gmail.com.
• A week from Sunday, on May 31st, Distance Worship will be at 10am and, as has been our tradition on Pentecost, will be shared worship with Nativity. From then on, at least through the summer, Distance Worship will be at 10am on Sundays.
• Day by Day is an excellent little book with which to pray. In one page it gives a bit of scripture, a brief personal reflection and something to pray for. We mailed out 4 yesterday. Let me know and we’ll mail you one tomorrow.
• In June we start 6 week weekly small groups of 4-6 people. In the groups we will ask who now is my neighbor and how am I to love them? They’re called Great Commandment Groups and will be led with different questions each week. Here’s the link to sign up. More to come about these on Friday.
• We have rekeyed the outside doors of the church and the Duncan Hall/Office building (not the education wing.). To start, there will be only 7 of us who have the new key. We made this change for our health and safety in the time of pandemic. GM and O keys are still needed to open doors inside the building.
• I believe that being a church that balances our common behavior among prayer, worship and service will be one of the things that helps us not just endure but thrive in the season of pandemic.
