Dear Extended St. Paul’s Family –
Thank you for your patience as our renovation and improvement work continues. We’re off to a great start in putting in the necessary work to keep Marin Day School as a happy tenant and to put up our new solar panels. Work is on track to be done before the end of the year. I find it helpful to keep reminding myself what a gift we are giving to our shared future!
This Sunday, the 7th, our SPRIF III campaign enters a new phase. Our leaders, Maggie and Jay, will be available after both the 8am and the 10am services to answer questions, explain why we’re doing what we’re doing and hand out all the material you need to to make your generous contribution. We’re all feeling very optimistic and utterly devoted to the core values of this campaign- safety, accessibility and beauty.
Our Advent season has begun and I am so grateful for our Sacred Space this month. It’s an irony that church provides a scared space that protects us from the hyped up ‘Holiday Season’ culture. It’s a refuge so that we can get in touch with our own yearning for God to be born into our lives in a new way this Christmas.
Blessings,
Christopher
