Thank You!

Thank you to the 80 of you who filled out the Spiritual Life Inventory. Jacob will now be leading the team that will be considering the picture that emerges from all of our responses. We have four meetings, the first one this Saturday, the last in early December.

I am so grateful we are taking a step back and asking these deep questions at this stage in our life together. Jacob will be leading his team through some very prayerful and personal exercises so that we can receive the information in the spirit intended by the folks at RenewalWorks.

Although hundreds of Episcopal Churches around the country have done the Inventory, we are the first in the state of California and in fact the whole west coast. Several of my clergy peers have been watching what we are doing with great interest and two or possible three other parishes in Marin may be doing the Inventory in January. So not only is our work together likely to build up our work at St. Paul’s, it might also help strengthen the gospel in other communities in Marin.

Next up for us is the Champagne brunch next Sunday, the 21st of October. This is the second annual brunch put on by the Vestry for us all to help kick us in gear for the final stretch of the year and to express gratitude and appreciation. Join us all for brunch after the 10am service next week.
