Hello –
Here are seven events at St. Paul’s between now and the end of the year:
1. Sandwiches for Vinnies. Join Mike G. and others to make bagged lunches for homeless folks in Duncan Hall on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 23rd. Email mike at mjesgreen@gmail.com.
2. Write Christmas Cards to Prisoners. Join Erin, Nancy and me in Duncan Hall on Saturday, December 3rd at 1pm to write as many or as few cards as you like to the21 inmates who are part of the Death Row Ministry. Light lunch and goodies will be provided. Email Erin at erin@synjyn.com.
3. Participate in our Angel Tree Project by either getting a present for a student at the De Colores preschool or helping out an Episcopalian hit by a hurricane in Florida. The come to St. Paul’s on Friday, December 16th as we hand our presents and are serenaded by the children. Contact Janie at janieburtch@gmail.com.
4. Join in the Christmas Singalong for Saints and Sinners on Monday, December 19th at 7pm in the church. Invite your neighbors, acquaintances a friends by grabbing a bunch of our snazzy postcards and handing them out.
5. Christmas Eve service in on Saturday the 24th is at 5pm.
6. Christmas Day service is Sunday at 10am.
7. Christmas Potluck Feast, featuring a ham provided by Chloe and me is immediately following the Christmas day service. All are welcome. Email Chloe to sign up and tell her what you’ll be bringing at chloeadmartin@comcast.net.
