Quick Hits for December

Hello –

On this feast day of St. Nicholas, I have a small series of notes and announcements to keep you oriented through this busy season.

• Tomorrow, Wednesday, at 5:30pm, is the ‘come and see’ for our ministry to Our Death Row Nine. You are welcome even if you only plan to send Christmas Cards. There will be brief descriptions of each man along with pictures.

• Thursday is the Annual St. Anne’s Lunch at noon in Duncan Hall. Figgy Pudding!

• Friday is the deadline to bring in gifts for the Ritter Center barrels in Duncan Hall. See the PS on this email for the list of what’s needed.

• Christmas Eve services are at 5pm and 10:30pm. The Christmas Day service is at 10am, followed by a Pot Luck feast in Duncan Hall hosted by the Martins. Although Christmas Day is a Sunday there will be no services at 8am and 5pm.

• Our children are doing an awesome job leading us in the Christmas Carols they have learned and in assembling our gorgeous creche scene on Sunday mornings. Thank you!

• By Christmas we should have five bids for the work of creating the safe, accessible and beautiful Hardin Courtyard. We’re on track to make a decision in January and to begin work as early as May.

Finally, you are welcome at any time to check out any of the five weekly spiritual events that I either lead or participate in. These are Morning Prayer on Tuesdays at 7:30am; Bible Studies on Tuesdays at 12:30pm, Wednesdays at 10am, and Thursdays at 6:15pm; and the Spiritual Forum on Sundays at 9am.

Keep your hearts open to prepare Him room!

Blessings,

Christopher
