Pay Attention to Scams

Good afternoon,

As we wrap up the Easter season and head into summer, I wanted to share a couple of things coming up.

First of all, this Sunday will be our kids’ Sunday, in which they will be invited to come up to the altar during Communion. We’re excited for them to see and experience the mystery of the Eucharist up close.

Second, our Nativity Tea table is now full, but we can make room for more individual seats if you would like to come. Please reach out to me this week if you would like to do so.

Finally, and regretfully, a hacker recently gained access to our Realm system while impersonating a member of the staff. They have been removed from the system, but may have gained access to your contact information. They were likely intending to engage in a common scam in which hackers pose as priests asking for money or asking you to open an attachment. I apologize for this breach. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Please remember that no member of the clergy or staff will ever contact you asking for money. If you are in doubt that an email is from me or Christopher, please reach out to me first to verify before replying (see my phone number below).

Blessings,

Erin
