Hello –
This Sunday, Chloe and I, on behalf of the Vestry, are hosting a party to express our gratitude for the St. Anne’s Guild. The party is from 4pm to 6pm. Our home is in San Anselmo, just above United Market on the Miracle Mile.
The history and the essential work of the St. Anne’s Guild is beautifully described by two Guidlers in our recent newsletter, The Epistle, which you all should have received in the last couple of weeks. If you didn’t get one please let me know and we’ll send you a copy.
Essentially, St. Anne’s is a service guild, started in the early 1950s. For the last sixty years, in ways known and unknown, the Guild has served St. Paul’s, Marin and the world beyond. Their work includes knitting hats for premature babies, writing birthday cards to parishioners, raising money for good causes through the annual Bazaar, paying for uniforms for the Davidson Middle School Marching Band, leading and paying for the installation of our stair chair lift and on and on and on. If you are any part of St. Paul’s, you have cause to be grateful for the the Guild.
Come to our house Sunday afternoon and join me in showering the active Guilders with well earned love and appreciation.
Blessings,
Christopher
