Learn to Love with Soren

This Wednesday, learn to love by beginning the process of reading aloud 16 pages of Soren Kierkegaard starting this Wednesday, August 31st, at 7pm either in person in Duncan Hall or on Zoom. I’ve chosen a particularly useful passage from one of Kierkegaard’s most powerful and accessible essays, Purity of Heart is to Will One Thing. This Wednesday, I provide a general introduction to the life and thought of Kierkegaard and a few orienting thoughts to help deepen our understanding. The following Wednesday, we begin reading aloud the essay and discussing it, with the intention of becoming better people, more loving people. This essay shows us a powerful way forward.
