Learn at St. Paul’s

Hello –

There are four ways to learn important things at St. Paul’s in the next two weeks.

The Work is Very Near You. Over the last year and a half, with help from many, I have come up with a new and useful way to make our post-communion prayers real in our lives. We pray for God to send us out to do the work God has given us to do. Come at 8:30am Saturday, 11:30am Sunday or 6:30pm Tuesday to start making that prayer real for you.

Safe Church. The one of you at the 10am saw 15 beautiful children and youth receive a blessing from the whole congregation as they begin a new school year. Come on Saturday, September 7th from 9:30am to 11:30am and learn with us how to make St. Paul’s as safe as possible for them. Alternatively, email Lorrie at lbugatto@stpaulssanrafael.org to get the links for the online training.

Sunday School and Youth Group. Sunday school for our children kicks off on Sunday, September 8th with our fabulous Libby leading our children in song. Youth Group will be raving up soon with gleaning at the Zen Center and serving a meal with Marin Street Chaplaincy.

New College of Christian Practice. Learn from teachers drawn from four different Episcopal Parishes of Marin at St. Paul’s this fall. Choose among Sitting Zazen with Jesus, The Resurrection is the Foundation of Christianity, Jesus and the New Age and Three Restorative Stories of Mary and Jesus. Classes are three Wednesday nights starting September 11th at 7pm. Email cmartin@stpaulssanrafael.org for information.

What a fun fall at St. Paul’s!

Blessings,

Christopher
