Hello –
On the cover of the Lifestyles section of the Marin IJ this morning is a wonderful article and interview about Erin. It’s title is Profound Experience: San Rafael woman gets ordained as Episcopal Priest. It’s a must read!

Congratulations, Erin and thank you, Judy, for making the connection!
In keeping with our theme, Erin will be showing a documentary film right after church this Saturday about the Philadelphia 11, the first women ordained in the Episcopal Church, who were ordained 50 years ago this month. Please join us. We’ll even provide snacks!
In other news…
• Taste Community, our young adult group, meets tomorrow at 6pm at St. Paul’s for dinner and conversation. All under 35 and over 18 are welcome.

The parking lot will be very busy during the week so please plan your weekday visits accordingly.
• The Back to School BBQ will be August 25th.
All are welcome to our weekly Bible Studies. Wednesdays at 10am in person we’re reading the minor prophets beginning with Hosea and Thursdays at 6pm on Zoom we’re reading the Gospel of Matthew.
In the meantime plans are well under way for a fall filled with the return of Godly Play Sunday School, youth group experiences for both middle and upper schoolers, and a Transcending Contempt Practice Group to start the Saturday after Labor Day. In that group we’ll be practicing habits that take us from Despair to Hope.
Blessings, Christopher
