As advertised:
1. Tomorrow we’ll be blessing folks with birthdays and anniversaries in July at our 10am service. Come get your blessing!
2. Monday evening at 7pm on Zoom is the presentation of the second of the core values of our Diocese, Collaboration. The intro video features the relationship between St. Paul’s and Nativity. Here’s the link to get the Zoom Link. I will be showing the opening video and leading conversation about the value of Collaboration after the 10am service on the following Sunday, August 3rd.
3. That Sunday, August 3rd, folks from Nativity will be joining us for worship and helping out with reading and ushering. Let’s welcome our friends back, mindful that Kirsten will have just had her last Sunday with them. They are entering a time of discernment.
4. Discerning Your Vocation? Register now for the St. Paul’s Young Adults retreat. This year we will explore what it means to discern God’s call in your life around work, relationships, and passions. Open to ages 18-late 30s. Free, $250 donations requested if able. Aug. 15-17th in Inverness, CA.
5. Sunday, August 24th will be our annual Back to School BBQ. It will also be the last of Cara’s monthly preaching, although we will certainly bring her back from time to time. We will be sending her and her family off in style.
