Hello –
Where do you go to find peace now?
I believe this long, ugly election process has been hard for everyone. I’ve already spoken with many of you and have received reports of all kinds of strong emotional responses to the events of the past several days.
We are a sacred space for your busy life- even during the week. Come by during the week and just sit in the space and allow the warmth of the wood, the beauty of the glass and the dignity of the space console and strengthen you.
Come on Sunday morning. This Sunday we begin our stately march toward Christmas with an O Antiphon, our children learning classic Christmas Carols and a simple, grounding message from me about working on our belovedness.
Come back to your spiritual roots. Plant yourself here and learn again that God is God, God is good, and God loves you.
Come back to a community that is warm and caring and strives to be good. It’s a community where you are welcome and where you too can learn about God and learn to do good.
This is not a time to be alone. It is a time to be with others and to work with others to make a world where it is easier to be good.
Blessings,
Christopher
