Hello –
Our mission is following Jesus together in worship, prayer and service. In the last five weeks, we have been learning how to worship in this season of pandemic and how to be together virtually. Below, I list five virtual ways that, each week, we are together.
In the month of May, we pivot to attend to prayer and service. Our first step is prayer. On Saturday, May 2nd you have two opportunities to either start or deepen your prayer live as you shelter-in-place. Announcements about both are below.
Finally, there are two things we can send you if you like. The first is the Forward Movement Day by Day reflections for May June and July. The other is the bulletin and a hymn for this Sunday. Email me if you would like one or both of these at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com.
Faithfully,
Christopher

Pray in May
Starting on Saturday, May 2nd at 9am Christopher and others will be leading a weekly series of half hour webinars on how to pray. It will be about a half hour of teaching followed by about half an hour of optional conversation. The first week will be “The Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of Prayer.” In the second week, Chris Olson will lead an introductory session on Centering Prayer. The other sessions include how to do Morning Prayer, other creative ways of praying and praying with the Bible. Email Christopher at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com for a Zoom invitation to the Webinar.
Centering Prayer: Beyond Covid 19 with Fr. Terry Ryan, CSP
Also on Saturday, May 2nd, from 8:30am to 11:30am you can learn to pray with Richard’s friend Terry Ryan. Centering is to bring us into a whole new spiritual operating system called “Non-Duality.” Centering takes us beyond me looking at Covid 19, in a subject/object mode. Zoom into these reflections which are the Heart of Centering Prayer. For reservations and the Zoom link contact Richard Olive ollipops@comcast.net.
