Hello St. Paul’s Families,
I hope everyone is well and prepared for this storm that is rolling in. I have two important things for this Sunday 12/14. The first is this message from Jim Ward. I’m not sure what he has planned but I am always excited to see how his plans unfold:
Next Sunday at the 10 o’clock service we’re asking each child to bring their favorite action figure, doll or stuffed animal to be part of a grand nativity scene for the time of the service that we’ll arrange during the children’s sermon. Any figure or doll, from super heroes to Barbies, will be great smaller than 10 or so inches high will be perfect. Of course the kids will take them home at the end of the service.
The second is a reminder that we will be caroling at the St. Vincent de Paul soup kitchen. We should have time to grab a quick coffee or snack and then head over. Susan our contact there said they could really use blankets and emergency ponchos should anyone have some they would like to donate.
