Who Do You Say I Am?
Tuesdays in Lent, 7pm, Duncan Hall and on Zoom beginning Feb 28
The Bible tells us that at one point, Jesus turns to his followers as asks, “who do you say I am?” Well, who do you say Jesus is? You’re invited to join us Tuesday evenings in Lent to explore this through the St. Paul’s letters and the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The hour-long program begins with a teaching from Christopher and other parishioners. After, you’ll break into small groups to discuss the teaching and who you say Jesus is. Then you’ll reconvene to share your thoughts.
Christopher leads off on February 28 by exploring St. Paul’s letters. Matthew Furlo takes on the topic on March 7 exploring the Gospel of Mark. Our seminarian Erin Wiens St. John is up next on March 14 with a teaching based on the Gospel of Matthew. Cara Meredith follows on March 21 looking at the Gospel of Luke. The series ends on March 28 with Christopher teaching based on the Gospel of John.
