Six Saturdays, 1/6/2024 – 2/10/2024
8:30am hospitality, 9am seminar
The Rev. Christopher H. Martin leads this seminar series focusing on the works of six unlikely mentors. Each Saturday is designed to help us learn to live and love in these divided times. Together, we’ll explore the writings and lives of Plato, Simone Veil, Aquinas, Kierkegaard, Dante, and James Baldwin, looking for ideas and methods for transcending contempt, scorn, evil and envy, while learning to be better listeners and embracing wonder, attention, and gratitude. Help yourself and others better manage 2024’s challenges. All are welcome! Attend the entire series or a selection of seminars. Free.
