Cara Meredith is a writer, a speaker, and a super part-time pastor. Once upon a time, she was a high school English and leadership teacher, then she morphed into the non-profit sector for a handful of years; after getting her Master of Theology (Fuller Seminary), she started dabbling in the freelance world, which is where she finds herself now. The author of The Color of Life, Cara is passionate about issues of justice, race, and spirituality, and tries her hardest to work some element of it into every sermon she preaches. She lives with her husband, James, and their two elementary-aged sons, Canon, and Theo, in Oakland.
