…not the 18th and 19th as I wrote yesterday. I’m sorry for any confusion.
Here is a more full announcement written by Sue Adamson, a leader of St. Anne’s:
‘”Due to circumstances beyond our control, St. Anne’s is cutting back on our annual rummage sale and bazaar. We will sell the excellent rummage we now have but request no more rummage! We will have a more modest, but still important harvest cupboard. We hope to have a book sale in the spring so we will continue to collect books. We hope to have help from everyone so this will be a success.”
I can’t emphasize often enough how important it is that we, as a whole community, honor and respect the generous and faithful work of the St. Anne’s guild. One way we do that best is by coming to the Bazaar and, even better, chipping in with the formidable amount of work this annual event requires. I will be there and hope you will too.
Events like our Bazaar and groups like our Guild are part of the essential fabric of so many of our great Christian churches across the country. We are blessed to be among them.
Please join me in expressing your gratitude to the essential ministry of the St. Anne’s Guild.
Faithfully,
Christopher
