The St. Paul’s Chancel Choir sings on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of the
month. We rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7:30 – 9 p.m. in the church.
Our repertoire consists of art music from Gregorian Chant to the 21st
century.
Composers and genres we have performed include Victoria, Bach, Handel,
Haydn, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Britten, Russian liturgical music and American
Shape Note.
The St. Paul Singers sing on the 4th Sunday of the month. We rehearse one Thursday
evening each month, 6:45-7:30 p.m. practicing contemporary church music that
is derived from folk and popular musical idioms. We are accompanied by
guitar and piano. In the past we’ve had bass, harmonica and djembe.
