Dear Families,
Happy Advent! Preparing Him Room is an amazing time of year, when we slow down for some family time and remember ‘the reason for the season’.
On December 18th the kids will learn Hark the Herald with Libby during Sunday School, then after rehearsing it with the congregation in Duncan Hall we will all head down to 5th Avenue for Caroling! We will have learned 6 Christmas songs which we will share with the residents. It will fill their hearts and renew their spirits. I look forward to you joining us!
On Christmas Eve, Christopher’s homily will focus on the Nativity Scene and the important characters present at Christ’s birth. If we have at least 10 kids in attendance, we will arrange ourselves as the characters and sing Silent Night. How sweet is the sight and sound of children singing this sweet Christmas song…
