After the baby is born the baby grows up. You, too are invited to grow up as a human being and as a Christian. Here are five ways you can take a next step in your spiritual life starting in January.
• PrayWorshipServe is the rhythm of life at St. Paul’s. We pray with scripture, we worship in the beauty of holiness and we serve the poor. It’s our way of being good. Will you join us in 2016?
• Newcomer Classes begin Sunday, January 3rd at 11:30 am and continue through February. Meet great people, learn our fascinating history and take a next step in your growth in love.
• A New Bible Study begins on Thursday, January 7th at 6:15pm. The first few sessions will be ‘Bible 101’ where I review the very basic history and structure of the book. I also teach simple and time-tested ways to explore its bottomless and often delightful depths.
• Our New Children’s Choir is open for new children who love to sing. They are already a treasured part of our multi-generational worship. Practices are Fridays at 5pm and on some Sundays.
• Your Special Role on Sunday Mornings. On Sunday mornings Christian do the liturgy, which is a fancy word for the work of the people. There are many different roles to play from singing to reading to hospitality to caring for our beautiful things. Come Saturday, January 23rd at 9am and discover your unique place.
By God’s grace I’m hoping for a great 2016 at St. Paul’s.
