Hello –
Five things for the good of the cause:
• Saturday and Sunday are our annual St. Anne’s Book Sale in Duncan Hall. There are a ton of great books this year. Come on by and bring your friends and bring your kids. 10-3 Saturday and 9 to noon Sunday.
• No Bible studies next week. John picks up again on the 19th of May (we miss two Tuesdays) and Augustine resumes on the 13th.
• Blessing of the Solar Panels. Far into the future our campus will be mostly run on the renewable energy of solar panels. Soon, there will be a spiffy tablet mounted in Duncan Hall showing our daily non-carbon-based energy use. On Sunday, May 17th we bless this new rig.
• Newcomer Party at our House. Chloe, Harper, Simon and I will be hosting all the folks who have been new to St. Paul’s in the last few years at our house on that same Sunday, the 17th, from 4pm to 6pm. We’re in San Anselmo, right above United Market. These are always great fun. Please come.
• Finally, on a more somber note, please pray for Hugh and Betty Hardin. As you may know, Hugh was the Rector of St. Paul’s for nearly thirty years and they both continue to be beloved members of our community. Hugh had a very hard fall yesterday and, after hours of surgery, is in the ICU at Marin General. He’s progressing but in need of many prayers.
