Bobbie’s Funeral Saturday at 11am

Dear Friends –
As I announced on Sunday, long-time parishioner Bobbie Hanley died this last Friday. She was 98 years old. I had a visit with her just over two weeks ago and she was sharp and healthy. A week ago Wednesday she had an event that sent her to the hospital and just over a week later, she died at home in her bed. When I visited her the day before her death, one of the last things I heard her say was “I am a good Episcopalian.” Yes, you are, Bobbie!

Her funeral will be this Saturday at 11am and the parish is welcome to attend, up to 40 people. This is the first worship service inside the church that is open to the parish. It will not be a Eucharist service, which is why it is possible for us to open the church doors to worship at this time. In addition, all who attend must wear masks and sit every other pew.

Whether or not you attend the funeral this Saturday, please join me in praying for the repose of Bobbie’s soul and for comfort for her children and grandchildren.

Blessings,

Christopher
