Hello –
It’s a big weekend at St. Paul’s. There are three things to know.
• Saturday from 9am to noon is the second Discipleship Group workshop. The first one this spring had thirty people representing nine congregations. Half the folks were from St. Paul’s and you all were awesome! Come or come again and either discover or deepen an appreciation for this core ministry of St. Paul’s. At the end, I’m going to propose a new ministry for St. Paul’s, one that has already received the support of the Bishop and our Vestry. We’ll be handing out surveys to get your ideas and reactions right from the start.
• Sunday morning is our first Family Sunday of the year. That means our worship includes celebrations of birthdays and anniversaries. Our family ministry goes from strength to strength thanks to the good, strong leadership of Tenesa. Our children join us in learning to follow Jesus together in prayer, worship and service.
• Sunday afternoon the Martin family will host our first ever all parish Open House. Come to our home in San Anselmo, just above the United Market on miracle mile, from 4pm to 6pm. I hope to have people taking photos of everyone for poster boards in Duncan Hall. Come get to know the good people of your Christian community in the heart of Marin County!
Blessings,
Christopher
