Hello –
This morning, at the reception to celebrate Samai’s Confimration and Yanelli’s Baptism, Akosua slipped and fell in the kitchen. She’s four months pregnant so we were all super cautious and called 911, who came and took her to Kasier. Felicia, Akosua’s mom, wanted me to send an email to let you know that Akosua’s fine as is the baby she’s carrying- she’s four months pregnant.
We’re all very relieved and, as all who were there can attest, they were putting on a spectacular reception at the time. It was a great honor for our community to be with Samai and Yanelli as they took these strong and good steps in their life with God. Akosua should be very proud! I know Felicia is.
In other news, I wanted to let you know that I heard from Michelle Spina that her father, our beloved Mike Spina, died peacefully at 10:30 this morning. Rest in peace, Mike, you good and faithful servant. They plan to have the funeral at St. Paul’s and I will let you all know when plans have been made.
