Hello –
This is the week we remember and enact the mighty acts by which we were saved. We do this in three beautiful worship services.
Palm Sunday. Tomorrow at 10am we begin our worship with the blessing of the palms and conclude with the stripping of the altar and walking through a silent courtyard.
Good Friday. At noon on Friday we pray, sing, and hammer a nail into our large wooden cross. The bell is rung 33 times.
Easter Sunday. At 10am next Sunday we sing the joyful hymns, behold the beautiful flowers and the children hunt for Easter eggs while we savor a feast of a coffee hour.
In Holy Week we internalize the truth of God’s love for us in a way that goes beyond words. Come and walk the way of Holy Week through our Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter worship services.
