Hello,
It will be a good weekend at St. Paul’s. In reverse order:
Come to the Martin home in San Anselmo for our twice-a-year Open House for the St. Paul’s community. You are welcome from 4pm to 6pm to mingle with the good people of St. Paul’s and have nibbles and drinks. Children and youth are most welcome. Some of the great friendships at St. Paul’s have started and been nurtured at these gatherings. We’re just above Untied Market on the Miracle Mile. Email me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com if you need the address.
Children Serving at Worship
This Sunday at the 10am service, our children will be our greeters, readers, prayer leaders and altar guild helpers. Come and worship as we embrace the fact that we are one church family of many generations. (You won’t want to miss Owen as our greeter!)
The Work is Very Near You
Saturday at 8:30am has now joined our two weekday Bible Studies and Sunday morning’s Spiritual Forum as a time anyone can drop by at any time to learn and discuss the joys and challenges of being Christian. There are about a dozen of us who, over the last few weeks, have begun practicing the practices of The Work is Very Near You. Already, the resulting stories are quite powerful and beautiful. Come this Saturday, or any time the Spirit gives you a nudge, and learn what this work is about. Keep looking at the 3rd page of our Sunday bulletin to see o
And don’t forget to keep bring in your books for the St. Anne’s Book Sale on October 5th and 6th!
