As we begin to turn the corner into summer, I wanted to share with you a new resource I created for all of you on praying at home. It is a YouTube series sharing six different prayer practices that are easy to take on in your own domestic church, the church in your own home. It is primarily geared towards families with children but can be adjusted for all ages and stages. Each practice has a how-to video and a partner practice video for parents to use before they lead their children in the practice. You can find the link to the playlists here. I hope it will be helpful to you and your family!
Also, I wanted to share a few announcements for the rest of May:
- Christopher will be away through June 24th. If you need anything, pastorally or otherwise, please reach out to me at ewiensstjohn@stpaulssanrafael.org or 415-408-8353.
- Our next family service day will be May 23rd at 6pm in Duncan Hall. Thanks to Kathy Schumaker for organizing.
- Nativity may be hosting an Ascension Day service on the evening of May 29th. Time TBA. We will carpool.
- The Nativity Tea will be May 31st at 2pm. We have three spots left at our St. Paul’s table–please contact me if you’d like to be added to the list!
And finally, as we look at the summer, save the date for a few key events:
- Save the date for a youth sleepover in the sanctuary July 19th-20th. Please invite friends; St. Paul’s membership not necessary!
- Save the date for the young adult retreat Aug. 15-17th. Registration will open in about a month. The topic will be Discerning Your Vocation: Marriage, Family, and Career.
Blessings,
Erin
