Hello –
Here are a few things to know about August at St. Paul’s:
• The Wednesday Bible Study returns tomorrow at 10am. All are welcome to join us as we read Paul’s letters in the New Testament.
• Our new photo directory is almost ready and will be available to view in Duncan Hall either this week or the next for perusal. It’s a delightful collection of the faces of many of us and a picture of all of the vibrant small groups that make up our community.
• The Back to School BBQ is Sunday, August 14th from 11:30am to 1pm. It will feature a Youth Jazz Quintet and opportunities for people to write age appropriate messages of love to Ukraine. One of the members of the Quintet’s family is from Ukraine.
• The Irresistible Welcome Bag will be coming soon for all who visit St. Paul’s. Yet another element of our Runway for growth.
• My teaching on love for 2022 concludes starting Wednesday, August 31st in Duncan Hall at 7pm. We’ll be reading aloud and discussing 15 pages of Kierkegaard’s great essay, Purity of Heart is to Will One Thing. No previous experience with him is expected or required.
