A Simplified Holy Week
Hello –
This year we have a simplified Holy Week. Outside of our usual 10am distance Sunday worship services there are only two things. Here’s the full Schedule.
Palm Sunday. Service is this Sunday at 10am. It includes blessing of palms, the passion narrative and concludes with the stripping of the altar. Palms and the liturgy are available starting later today on the pews in front of Duncan Hall. (Along with the new Forward Day by Days)
Stations of the Cross. At 5pm on Sunday I will lead Stations of the cross with our new temporary Stations, already set up in the Hardin Courtyard. Stations start at the sidewalk and lead up to the tree. Come by any time and do it yourself. The liturgy is in a box hanging from the gate. Please return the liturgy when you are done. Folks have already tried it and said it is very intuitive, very powerful, and takes less than half an hour.
Good Friday. Live distance worship is next Friday at noon on both our Facebook Live and Youtube channels.
Easter Sunday. Easter Sunday is at noon. Truvine, blessed on Palm Sunday, will be available throughout the week to pick up. The altar will be resplendent with flowers.
