Hello –
1. Ash Wednesday Service is at noon on Facebook Live and our St. Paul’s, San Rafael YouTube channel. It should last about half an hour. I’ll be at the curb on Court Street from the end of the service to about 3pm and from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
2. The book group I will be leading on my book, With Gladness, begins this Saturday at 9am. Here’s the Eventbrite link to sign up. We meet the Saturdays of Lent at 9am.
The theme for Lent this year is a walk with Jesus. All the sermons will be from Gospel readings featuring Jesus walking with his followers. Holy Week will feature the Stations of the Cross. Best of all will be a virtual long weekend experience featuring crafts, songs, games, a half-hour movie and great conversation, all centered on the gospel story of the road to Emmaus.
