5 Things

Hello –

It’s going be a beautifully full couple of weeks at St. Paul’s. There is much to learn and hope you’ll join us.

1. Mom’s Mini-Retreat is this Sunday Afternoon. Email Kati at kdombrosky@gmail.com if you an active Mom and would like to be a part of it. Chloe and Kati will be reading excerpts of Cara Meredith’s book, the Color of Life and leading discussions.

2. Small Groups are available to each of us in a variety of forms, from book groups to Christian support groups to Discipleship Groups. Here’s the link to fill out a brief form and so find out more. A special opportunity begins next week:

“Sacred Ground” Series on Race and Racism:  1st and 3rd Thursdays 7-8:30 p.m. Starting January 21st. Sacred Ground is the Episcopal Church’s film-based dialogue series on race and faith. Over ten sessions, our intergenerational discussion circle will be a sacred space for difficult but respectful and transformative dialogue on race and racism. We will engage with the films, videos, written materials, and each other to look at our collective and personal histories.  Register for the series here: https://forms.gle/U7MPEGf7xAuiiW1t8

For a preview of the materials look at this link:  https://episcopalchurch.org/sacred-ground/syllabus-preview

3. Cara Meredith, the author of the Color of Life, will be our preacher on Sunday, January 24th. Here’s the link to her book on Amazon if you’d like to read it ahead of time.

4. With Gladness is the title of my new book and on Saturday, January 30th at 9am, I’ll be doing a book signing via Zoom. Here’s the link to sign up and get a book which I will sign and send to you.

5. The New Preschool begins on Monday, February 1st. We’re preparing a sign that says Bienvenidos Hermanos! Welcome Neighbors! and has our logo. Our campus is about to enter into a new chapter.
